Less Shots Fired Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to preventing firearm accidents, negligence, injuries, and suicide through education. We equip children, families, and gun owners with age-appropriate safety training, secure storage tools and practices, and mental health awareness — meeting people where they are, in the communities where they live. We believe every firearm injury prevented begins with a conversation, and our mission is to make sure that conversation happens in every home.

The Foundation’s programs include Stop Run Tell, a child-focused curriculum teaching children what to do when they encounter an unsecured firearm; family education on secure firearm storage, including distribution of locks and storage devices; and initiatives at the intersection of mental health and firearm access, including suicide-prevention education and voluntary safe-access protocols for households in crisis.
